Hi, I'm Sabrina Perrin.  A Certified Nutritional Therapist.  I obtained my certification through The Health Science Academy.  I chose this school based on 1 main reason, they are a European, Scientific based school.  Europe has more strict guidelines for nutrition than the US does and for me, strict nutrition is important.

In 2013 I lost my dad, my beloved best friend to type 2 diabetes.  It had been a long road watching him decline and suffer due to poor eating habits.  It was over the course of about 7 years that I began making better food choices for me and my family.  I didn't want to end up like my dad and I certainly didn't want my children to follow that path either.  So we slowly began to eat home cooked meals.  Then we began reading ingredients and choosing better, more safe foods, even though they were still packaged.  And finally, we cut out breads, pastas and sugars, added a ton more dark green vegetables, making sure they were organic if at all possible.

It was these changes that lead me to want to lose those 25 grief pounds I had gained when he passed.  In July of 2018, through the encouragement of a good friend, I began the KETO way of eating.  I initially lost about 10 pounds the first month.  I switched things up to low carb since it was the summer and I wanted watermelon and grapes!  Even with adding those fruits I continued to lose weight.  I then added fasting 18-24 hrs several times a week.  It took me 6 months, but I eventually lost a total of 30 pounds, gained so much energy and self confidence.  I even healed my psoriasis from around my ankle!  All because of my diet changes.  

 

Live Revived was birthed from my challenges and experience with being overweight, failing at a several different diets and nearly reaching a pre diabetes diagnosis. 

 

I want to share with everyone I come in contact with, the best foods for their bodies, help them gain more energy, reduce inflammation, lose the extra weight they've been failing to keep off and help them just feel better.  

 

My goal is to share all that and by meeting regularly with people to encourage them on their journey to better health and reminding them it's about  Progress NOT Perfection!
